It's All an Illusion

Beyoncé lip-syncing the National Anthem at Obama's second inauguration just sorta seems symbolic to me of his entire presidency thus far. In fact, I think his entire legacy may be summarized by the idea of someone just mouthing the words.

After all, this is the so-called "great orator" who has had to have his teleprompter even when speaking to his fawning liberal press. I mean, really? It's not like they are going to criticize him for "misspeaking". They won't even call him out on blatant lies or complete errors.

As if I didn't already have a feeling like the entire Obama era is just a lot of make-believe and pretend, as in they make-believe they know what they are doing and pretend it is for the good of the citizens, Michelle added to the feeling of it just being a show with her actually wearing a costume to play her part as First Lady. Except I think her designer maybe went a little too Hollywood and perhaps not exactly in the way they meant.

I mean, don't get me wrong, I am a total Star Trek fan. A complete trekkie! I have memorabilia. But, I still am not sure I care for the wife of the United States' president to be dressed like a female Romulan aristocrat. Just seems a little weird, which is saying a lot 'cause I am pretty much all about fashion making statements AND loving Star Trek. But at the inauguration??? I don't think so. A little more class and decorum would suit me just fine, thank you very much!

I just think it is more of the same ol' same ol' that we have come to expect of the Obama presidency. It is all smoke and mirrors, except that the smoke comes from them trying to burn down our way of life, while they use the mirrors to blind us with flashes as they sneak one more thing through with their nefarious unconstitutional governance.

The sad thing about their deceptions is that there is nothing illusionary about the ramifications. The consequences of their actions are all too real. This is not a friendly little magic show where the magician pulls a coin from behind your ear. Obama and his minions are pulling the money right out of our pockets, paychecks, and bank accounts. They aren't doing fascinating card tricks. They are trying to implement card check so the union bosses have even more power over their membership.

So, yeah, with all this going on, I am pretty much okay with the National Anthem being lip-synced at Obama's inauguration. It somehow seems less disrespectful that way. 'Cause it is for sure that Obama and his supporters really don't support all the things the National Anthem stands for. You know, those things like freedom, the Constitution, America, etc.
